Ama

Ama, all-female deep-sea divers, have preserved their ancient traditions up to the present day for more than 1,000 years, these fisherwomen have found ways to sustain marine resources, by limiting their seasons and catches and avoiding sea life that has not yet matured. Ama also grill fresh seafood right before your eyes - a great time to talk to them and find out how they live.
